by the Beach is the affordable alternative to high priced
treatment centers. Located in the beautiful beach city of
Dana Point California, we offer a loving family-like atmosphere
designed to help addicts and alcoholics build a strong lasting
foundation in the twelve steps and to learn how to maintain
a useful life free from the pain and horrors of addiction.
We offer three service levels for our residents. As our clients
grow in their understanding and commitment to recovery, their
level of independence and responsibility grows as well. In
this way, our clients become ready to transition into the
world at large. We accept people who are newly clean and
sober and people looking for transitional living. Drug and
Alcohol testing. Minimum stay is 30 days. Outside affordable
medical detoxification is available. Ages 17 + Men and Women.

We founded Shaggy's House on the idea that we need a safe and
clean environment to start with. We have created a well appointed,
affordable, coed, recovery home, located in Dana Point California,
providing a safe drug and alcohol free living environment for
people wishing to live a sober lifestyle based on twelve step
